One of my favorite engine rebuild tools!

This was perfect for honing my 1972 Honda CB350F cylinders. Easy for beginners and gets rid of all those dark spots where piston rings have been stuck and stuck for decades. I used a hand drill, but you can use a drill if you have one. A good tip is to run the drill at low speed while the honing tool moves in and out in very rapid motions. This will give you a perfect 45Β° hatch, otherwise you might get a sharper hatch angle. Don't forget to use lube as well, I used Marvel Mystery Oil which…

Pros
  • Laps & Hones
Cons
  • Boring Pack

If your size is slightly over the recommended size, skip the instructions and go up a size. First off, they're too big (my 1 1/8" grinder is a few thousandths under 1 1/4"). 1.03" to 1.06" to allow 3/4" tubes to slide out in structures. I also intended to use it to open up the 25mm C-cell flashlight aluminum tubes to 26mm (1.026") LiFePO4 cells. I hope that after the hon on the steel tube is broken I will be able to run it in the aluminum tube. without end damage. I think in both cases would it

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Not intending to do this regularly, I was torn between a cheap sharpening stone bit for about $20 and a flex sharpener I've seen on YouTube and the ones at Revain for $37 was sold. Reviews for sharpeners have been terrible (cheaply made and conflicting) and reviews for flexible tools, although few, have been mostly positive…
