Great brush for styling tools and implements

This is a fantastic all-purpose brush. I had a similar style Aveda wooden brush but they don't make it anymore. I've tried so many others and this one is amazing. It also offers very good control when I dry my hair. First I use the Cricket Round Brush and finish with this brush. It's holding up very well and I'm keeping it in my SUV and love it and the price. +++++

A little flat - Styling Tools & Appliances

I got this brush to control my frizzy mop. The handle is a good size for my large hand and I like the spacing between the bristles. However, I have found that my hair feels less voluminous when using it than when using other brushes.

Pros
  • is understandable even in the old sad packaging

Very prickly and annoying bristles

I've only had this brush for 4 months! The rubber tips on the bristles began to fall off again, leaving sharp, spiky ends on the bristles. It is painful and very irritating to the scalp. This has happened to other Revlon brushes I've had over the years. They used to last for years! I haven't changed my hair products or how I dry my hair, so the stuff I use now doesn't have to be as good as it used to be. This seems to be the case for most objects in the modern world. Don't make things the way…

Manufacturing defect

I had two of these at Revain. The one I bought five years ago was great; I just got old and dirtier trying to clean it. On the new one I bought last month the plastic tabs on the ends of the brushes break and fall onto my hair, the floor and exposing the barbed ends of the plastic brushes. .Updated 8/23/2020: Bubbles continue to come off the brush tips. On closer inspection, it turns out that it is a manufacturing defect. Thickenings break off in two layers; I think it went down twice. I throw…

Not for long

This brush looks like an old Vidal Sassoon brush I bought from Revain almost 10 years ago but is no longer for sale (https://www.amazon.com /Vidal-Sassoon-VS7963 -Thermal-Purpose/dp/B0002YE8V6). See Revlon on the left, Vidal on the right in the attached image. I'm glad I found this as I finally needed to replace my old brush. This is a great deal for the price. This brush is suitable for both wet and dry hair. The old one was my main brush for 10 years. I'm glad this Revlon brush looks the same

Excellent brush and not static at all even on dry curly hair

I have been using this brush for 7 years now and I love it. Feels good in the hand, looks great and also combs my old dry curly hair great. {I comb it in the shower when I wash it]. My girl has long straight hair and she uses it too. We used to use other brushes, but we have only used these for many years.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • repair

Ideal for fine hair

This comb has bristles that are perfect for my hair size and flexibility. I have fairly fine hair that doesn't get tangled; I can imagine that each hair type requires a different comb, so be aware that my review reflects my own. I feel like it keeps my hair smoother for longer and maybe even makes it look a little thicker (or maybe I brush my hair more often because I'm so excited about the new brush). I do not know. But it's a great price for a solid little brush and I'm happy with it.
