If you are new to Arduino, use a breadboard or just need more Dupont jumpers, this pack is perfect. It comes with a decent amount of all combinations. (MM, MF, FF). None of them were defective and they don't feel cheap or fragile. I ordered a second set of jumpers because everything I've read about them says they are copper clad aluminum wires, but before the other set arrived I cut off the end of one of them, just to check and i was surprised that the soldering works fine. This might have been the same male-male combination to choose from, but I'm taking a chance and assuming they were all made from the same mass-produced material. However, they were cheap and did what I needed. I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered these connectors as they are always there, when needed they are never found. I opened up one of the connectors and it appears to be stranded copper wire with a very clean crimp on the end. No soldering, but you still don't need to solder the ends of these duponts. Overall, I'm happy with the 120 cords that come in various male/female configurations, and even more happy with the price!

Instead of pen tips, we have a U-shaped hollow pen. Bad grind and stiffness on your breadboards. Buy them from another supplier and either throw them away or use them if I need to permanently solder to an engine or project. After learning that these pins are not solid but hollow U-shaped, I understood why you can't get them to work. in the layout, garbage product.

If you need basic breadboard wires, buy this wire kit (especially for college classes). It is economical and useful for real experiments. I used this cabling for 13 separate experiments in the Embedded Systems course and I was pleased with the fact that these wires are flexible enough to be moved around without breaking (mostly) and to keep the implementation clean.
