Your guide is the worst!

First of all they don't even say what to do to transfer the code to the board. This might seem obvious to those in the know, but since their projects end abruptly without telling you where to click on the screen to pass the code, I had to reach out to Google and YouTube for an answer. So the instructions are wrong and we are only in project 4! Nothing worked with the type of board they were supposed to choose. I had to use a different type of board as one reviewer here said. Nothing worked…

A great kit for learning microcontroller programming.

Great price for a starter kit with so many sensors. I've only had it 1 day, but I've already learned something from this kit. I followed the instructions exactly and I have a problem connecting Windows 10 to R3 Uno. Download and install the latest Arduino 1.8.5. My R3 Uno was loaded with nothing as the yellow "L" LED was on all the time. I'm following the instructions on the RexQualis website and setting the board to Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560 in the Tools section and I can't connect to…

Lots of parts, poor quality breadboard and rail

I'm about halfway through the tutorials on this subject and at this point I can safely say I'm not very impressed with this set. . While it looks like you'll get a lot of pieces, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. So far I've been able to work through most of the tutorials, but it's been a little disappointing. First, the learning guide is really bad. I downloaded everything from their website (as they noticed in a previous review that they updated the manual). I found it full of bugs…

Very handy parts kit for a small microcontroller

I chose this kit as a general source for parts and an 8-bit microcontroller for distance students in the first microcontroller course I teach. Of course I don't use it with the Arduino compiler. It works well with Microchip AVR Studio. What first drew my attention to this kit was that it was one of the few kits in this price range that included a keyboard. An important bonus is also the increased number of 200 ohm resistors. The overall selection of parts is very convenient. I want it to…

Wow, you get a lot of stuff for $32.

Wow for $32 you can get a lot of stuff. I've only worked through a few examples, but so far everything works great. The board interacts fairly easily with the Arduino IDE. The only snag I had so far was the fact that I had to manually figure out which communication port identifies the USB. Besides, it was pretty idiotic proof. I've seen someone complain about a sloppy breadboard fit and that wasn't my experience. However, I will say that the hole sizes are for jumpers, LEDs, etc., but resistors

Beware of used components [updated with rating changes]

A power module was used. There were still bits of solder wire and flux on the power connectors. If you need new components, you can look elsewhere. EDIT: The seller explained to me that while solder and rosin marks are a bit pronounced on my power module, sometimes these just come from the factory and the unit should work fine. I measured the voltage and it works as expected. I no longer feel like this product is 'used' and my expectations for electronics looking shiny and new have been…

Very impressed with the quality of this kit.

I am very impressed with the quality of this kit. From the moment I opened the package the kit was in a sealed bag. At first I was concerned that people might use and return used kits due to reviews of other kits on Revain, but REXQualis have supplied a brand new kit. High quality clone of Arduino Uno R3, good screen printing on board and connectors. All of the individual components in the box are also individually wrapped to prevent oxidation or corrosion while awaiting delivery to the…

Good facilities, tutorials could be better

At 36 years old I'm just starting to learn programming and microcontrollers with this Uno R3 starter kit. I was curious to create some interesting projects and decided now is the right time to start learning new skills. I decided to purchase this Rexqualis Uno R3 Super Starter Kit for several reasons: 1. It has a large number of solid reviews and a good rating.2. I wanted a kit that included Uno and a couple of starter projects.3. The price is good for good facilities included. Some first…
