I chose this kit as a general source for parts and an 8-bit microcontroller for distance students in the first microcontroller course I teach. Of course I don't use it with the Arduino compiler. It works well with Microchip AVR Studio. What first drew my attention to this kit was that it was one of the few kits in this price range that included a keyboard. An important bonus is also the increased number of 200 ohm resistors. The overall selection of parts is very convenient. I want it to include some bypass capacitors and maybe four schottky diodes or at least two more normal diodes. Otherwise, the maintenance price is very good, and the quality of the parts is also very reasonable. We played through about fifty sets and I haven't heard a single complaint. In the future I plan to use the kits as a must buy in addition to the textbook. I will supply bypass capacitors from another source (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MD4NPFS/).
