The toy is soft and that's why my dog loves it. He doesn't like to chew. The noise is a bit annoying but my dog loves that noise.

Item as described. Only problem is my dogs won't touch it. They collect, chew, swallow all sorts of things. But not this toy. I tried washing it off with soap and water thinking it might have an odor I could remove. There are no dice. They still won't touch it and when I try to get them to play with it the dogs just look at me like they're kidding me? It's too much of a hassle to send back and I can't even bring myself to offer it at a flea market.

Other reviews talked about how durable this toy is so I was surprised when it arrived at how thin the rubber is. Confident that my dog would eat it in 15 minutes, I gave it to the Hairy Beast and watched. Three weeks later it still doesn't fit and it's my dog's favorite toy. It's soft enough to make it squeak, but I think the spiked design keeps it from bending over and chewing it to bits. Well done squeaker.
