Excellent calligraphy paper

I love this sharp point calligraphy paper! The ink does not run and the writing is very smooth. I also see the manual I put underneath. It is also great for brush calligraphy.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Periodicity

Expensive but works well and unique product

This mat is expensive but it matches the seller's advertisement. Paper quality is good, cardboard cover and back wrap work very well. I was willing to pay for it because it's the only full-size perforated notebook with blank pages that I could find _wo_.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Poor set

Five stars but not for my purposes

This is a good quality paper and works well with most water based inks which tend to bleed through. While I like Diamine and others, I mostly use Noodler ink, which doesn't bleed even on cheap exercise books. The Rhodia paper appears to be heavily coated, resulting in some tugging on the stylus. It's fine for jotting down or taking notes in a meeting or a sermon, but not for what I call a "long letter," which can last hours for me. I find that my hand gets tired after a short time. However…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Excellent notepad especially for writing with fountain pen

Notebook in black cover looks very stylish. The paper is very high quality and very smooth. This is great paper for writing with fountain pens as the paper doesn't create blurry outlines around your letters (known as feathers) like cheap carbon paper does. US buyers should note that the paper is not the standard 8 1/2" x 11" letter size; it's a bit taller and a bit narrower because it's a standard A4 size. It's fine unless you want to put sheets in a stack of other paper or in sheet protectors.

Curled paper with uneven left and right curls

Curled paper with irregular left and right curls reaching almost to the center of the backing paper. Cannot be used for calligraphy as the ink rolls off unevenly and there is no point in trying to wet and smooth it due to the thinness of the paper. Also, you will get an uneven line when drawing due to the paper's curl. Photos illustrate paper curl but cannot be returned due to Revain's policy. I don't know if it was bad packaging or just a bad product since I first bought this paper. But don't…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fantastic paper. Useful, versatile and affordable.

Fantastic paper. Very smooth, elastic, non-absorbent. Somehow all these things are still very light, so they feel thin and elegant. I used a crow quill (a dip pen nib specially made for fine lines and therefore has a sharp needle point and catches everything, for the untrained) with very fine fountain pen ink and Rhodia is the only paper. I could learn from my possibilities what keeps him from bleeding and leaning on the edge of incomprehensibility. The pen didn't understand what I was writing…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
