Fits my rigid random orbit sander

Perfect replacement for my rigid random orbit sander. Easy to assemble and sandpaper works great with this velcro system.

Lower OEM quality on power tool parts and accessories

Arrived almost two weeks after ordering yesterday and is obviously not OEM material or quality. The bolt-on plastic is a softer material, and the Velcro closure is complemented by frayed edges. It is already foreseeable that this will not last long.

Saved my Sander! Best in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

When the new paper started flying off my grinder I was disappointed to say the least! "I can't afford to buy another grinder right now!" Then I looked and saw some bolts holding the sanding pad. So I found a replacement sanding pad and now the sander is like new!

This is the perfect replacement for

When my brand new grinder ruined the original disc pad I thought I had to return the grinder... and they didn't have it in stock. Then I found this and it is an exact replacement for that grinder. Works perfectly! Highly recommended!

Goes perfectly with the factory original

I borrowed a grinder from a friend and have used it a lot more than I thought I would. Worn original upholstery. I'm embarrassed to tell him and am considering replacing the entire mill. until I found this. Matches the factory sole perfectly, updated slider like new again. Very grateful!

Does not fit older models of this grinder!

Old models of this grinder were sold by Ridgid but were actually made by Metabo. For some reason Ridgid no longer offers parts for the old version. (Probably some dispute with Metabo). Metabo still produces and sells the same design (better reviews than the newer Ridgid) as their SXE 450 TurboTec model. Their 6 inch 31158 replacement sole is an exact replacement for the older Ridgid R2611.

Holds too much sandpaper lint

First use was fantastic. The paper adhered very well to the substrate. But once I peeled off the paper, the next sheet didn't stick very well. On the third sheet, it didn't hold up well at all, and eventually a sheet of sandpaper fell off. The pad holds all the fibers of the sandpaper, which the original Rigid Pad didn't have. I don't know how to prevent the fibers from sticking to the pad. The original pad worked fine despite dozens and dozens of sheets of sandpaper. I do not recommend this…
