Not what I expected.

I am very disappointed with this product. I used the tip of my razor to scrape the end of the PVC pipe before gluing it and was very happy to have an actual tool to work with. Unfortunately, this tool does not work well. It seems poorly made and mostly leaves such a mess at the end of the pipe that I use my knife anyway. I would have sent it back but after spending $7 on shipping I'm pretty sure it wasn't worth it. Another thing is that the picture showed 3 parts. I received 1 piece and felt…

Useful tool for deburring PVC edges

They're a little pricey but useful. Quality PVC joint manufacturing is critical and will provide decades of reliable, leak-free connections. These tools quickly remove the sharp edges of PVC pipe cuts, resulting in better adhesive distribution throughout the joint. Always remember to: 1) cut pipe square to the joint/fitting, 2) sand the joint surfaces with fine sandpaper/sandpaper, 3) use these tools to soften the edge, 4) use a PVC primer , 5) fully install your PVC pipe at the joints, 6) use…

Deceptive promotional photo, junk tool

Ridgid usually has very acceptable products. This is the notorious exception. The toolup seller first tries to scam you with a picture of 3 items and for the price that's what you should get. But no, you only get the big one. And it's garbage. In theory this could be very handy, but there are no edges on the tool that cuts PVC. According to the law, this does not equal its "fitness for a particular purpose" and constitutes a breach of warranty. It angers us all that Revain is still allowing…
