Solid USB 3.0 port solution

First, it works :) Second, it had a flexible and long enough cable to run through my gaming case and reach ports. Since my slot machine is all black, it was great that the wires matched up and didn't have a bright white wire contrasting with the dark interior of my rig. Third, the connector sits firmly on the motherboard and stays in place. say about the USB port. it's simple, it works and it looks great.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

This is what I needed and it does the job.

For my new desktop PC I needed more USB 3.0 ports than the motherboard had. The board had 4 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0. The motherboard has 2 USB 3.0 ports and only one of them was used to power the front panel ports. So I ordered this 2-port backplane adapter and installed it in just a few minutes. It worked straight away in Win 10 and seems to be of very good quality. If you want to add some new ports and have an available header to use them, this setup is a great way.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Everything great

Works perfectly! Best in Cables & Interconnects

Mine arrived today so I hooked it up straight away and tested it with the Oculus Rift. Works perfectly so it's a safe buy if you need more USB ports for VR. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the metal plate isn't the strongest. Mine flexes a bit when I put something in, so I caution you to screw it in tight and be careful when you plug it in. I had no trouble installing this in my large, roomy case, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on organizing cables behind the backโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Good replacement for a broken front panel

This is a good addition to your PC if you have USB 3.0 ports (aka USB 3.2 Gen 1) as a replacement, or an ideal solution to Replacing defective USB ports on the front panel. This item is described as 19/20 pin and yes it is best to look at the motherboard first before buying. What you get in the box are 19-pin socket holes to begin with, but if your motherboard has a 20-pin socket, you can simply poke a hole in a closed hole with a SIM tray removal tool. And that's how you get a 20-pin socketโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Fits and does the job

The motherboard didn't come with this cable adapter so I ordered this from Revain. It fit perfectly and now I have two extra USB3. All round good offer! The cable length was just right, and the connectors themselves fit into the unused area of the slot cover. You just need to make sure your motherboard has a 20 pin USB3 connector to connect this device. This is NOT a USB3 board, just a way to connect to the motherboard's onboard USB3 capabilities.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Connector not fully seated

Connector not fully seated. That says it all. It works but not sure if it's fully deployed and why not. The other USB connector, used for the front panel connection, is fully plugged in, while this one looks halfway. Time. Maybe later. Maybe the pin broke in one of those holes, that's what happens. Revise the review if I can if I find anything. Haven't tested the device on it yet, but the ports work. Connect it to the USB 3.2 Gen1 port on the motherboard.

Pros
  • Always dropped
Cons
  • No
