💄 Rimmel Kate Lip Balm with Conditioning Benefits, 0.14 fl. oz. Review

I read the reviews and since it was cheap I decided to give it a try. I'm very picky about any lip product as I can't stand stickiness or dullness and I've found the perfect balance for my picky propensity! It's like applying your favorite face cream, thin enough to wear under your lip color or alone to give your lips the perfect softness. I highly recommend! In addition, the price is unbeatable!

The packaging was good so I have no doubts this is a new piece. I posted a photo of how it was. It's more perfumed than I remember. I used to buy it from Walmart and then they stopped selling it. I'll give it a few uses and see how it works. **UPDATE** I have no idea what the different ingredients are, but it made my lips so chapped. I used to go to it whenever my lips were dry, I just had to stop using it as soon as I noticed a smell in it.

I love this Rimmel lip balm! I paired it with Revlon Lip Balm for extra moisture and a light scent for luscious lips. I personally love Revlon Peach Flavored Lip Balm and Revlon Strawberry Flavored Lip Balm paired with this Rimmel lip conditioner. Heavenly couple. The lip conditioner itself has a neutral taste and makes my lips oily. There is a touch of beige-cream color. I'm a black female with dark pink lips and dark purple outer lining for reference. I've used this product in the past and I think it turned out bad. Either that, or the wording has changed entirely. The last one I had was very light, pleasant smell and taste. This tube tastes like my grandma's thick old lipstick. It's disgusting. It also doesn't moisturize like it used to. Rather, it dries almost instantly. Terrible.

I also find this product very useful and now that Revlon no longer makes the 'clear' lipstick/conditioner I used to buy this seems to be the best product be to work with. I use it under lipstick and before bed. even if the lips are simply dry, as is the case with low humidity. After showering I use this along with skin lotion for the rest of my body.

I opened it and there was dirt. There is no seal on it. It was made of easy-sliding plastic. It was red in color, which would cause you to worry about blood. I wiped it off with a cotton swab and saw that it remained on the remnants of the lipstick. I then flushed it with hydrogen peroxide to disinfect it. This is the best lip balm I have ever seen and I have tried many. It's smooth, non-sticky and has no discernible taste or odor. Plus, it doesn't tingle on your lips like some lip balms do. It's actually moisturizing and doesn't have that weird drying effect that some lip balms and conditioners have (which forces you to use even more product). Love love love these lip balms! I apply the balm to my bare lips before applying lipstick and my lips feel quite hydrated throughout the day. When they feel a little dry I apply some over the lipstick and I'm ready for the rest of the day. Since the product is applied colorless (despite a slight salmon tone), the color of the lipstick does not change.
