These gloves are smaller and fit my hands perfectly. I see how some people find them small. The construction is leather and superb, you just can't find better mittens at this price point.

I used large pads to focus, they are great for more experienced boxers, very realistic target area and easy to counter and control defences. I found them comfortable and can be held close to the face like gloves. I got an extra pair and got the boxers to use them so they could see incoming punches and practice defensive blocks.

I have average hands, I see they don't fit someone with big hands. Prefer larger mittens for more precise work. - Good padding. - Full leather construction. Cons: Not really a negative, it's just a design. It may only fit medium sized hands. Those with larger hands will need to choose a larger glove size. Conclusion :- I work with my 8 year old son and he gets along well with them (punches and kicks). No regrets buying, glad I chose these over the oversized gloves.
