I bought this knowing full well that I might have to buy my own thread. I bought a similar kit from the same manufacturer but the threading is useless. The thread snaps in your fingers. Otherwise the fabric, card, needle and beads are great.

My first big cross stitch project, definitely not perfect but easy to do! I finished it in about 2.5 months although I still have some work to do with the beads. I have a 4 year old and a newborn to take care of, so everything goes faster when you're alone 😄. There are tons of threads left over, it wasn't worth being so stingy when it comes to finishing small pieces.

Perfectly organized and incredibly easy to read. It scared me because all the packaging was in Russian and the instructions were translated into 6 (!) languages. The thread is so organized and tidy that I don't even want to put it in my organizer. I can't wait to get started! Remember that the pattern is printed very small, so have your glasses ready for those with low vision!

Years ago I loved counted cross stitches and was glad to buy these. I would give 5 stars but I think the quality of the thread is not up to scratch. I've always used DMC for the past few years, but this thread gets tangled up pretty quickly when pulled through the fabric. Otherwise I like how the picture looks when I go. It's also quite big, so it might take a while 😉
