Seems to work only with hall sensor

I wanted to order this item to see if it would work without sensors. The description says it works with a hall sensor, which is good. I was also wondering if this would work with my sensorless motors. I asked a question about working with a hall sensor and didn't get an answer. After looking at several photos in the description of this article with speed control when connected to power supply and BLDC, it is clear that the hall sensor connector is not even connected. Beware. This controller…

It works when connected properly but can be tricky to set up

I bought two to control two motors. In the beginning the management was terrible. Very jerky, draws a lot of current. Upon investigation, changing the motor leads made it work properly. But the powered motors had color coded wires and labels wired according to the controller inputs - 50/50 whether it was a motor or a controller with the wrong logic. But the end result was that I was able to run the motors from the power supply as a source. I took out another controller and switched to using the

Good controller, with some flaws

This controller worked great for me right out of the box. It effortlessly drove a 24V 6A motor, no heat problem and high torque. If you are using PWM mode for speed control, make sure you remove the jumper next to the speed potentiometer on the control board. Without a few comments I would give 5 stars. Note: The controllers will turn off after a few seconds in PWM mode when connected to a +5V power supply and then not turn back on. It looks like the PWM channel is very sensitive to noise and…
