Does NOT fit new Shimano Di2 battery (with 3 output terminals)

I ordered this hoping it would secure my Di2 battery (from the new 9200 group set) but it does not. The new Shimano Di2 battery has 3 output posts (vs 1 on all prior Di2 batteries) and this does not fit. It probably could be trimmed to fit but i think i am sending back and will look for something that offers are better fit.

  • Some cyclists may prefer a more minimalist approach to bike technology, choosing to ride without electronics or relying on manual gear shifting

This worked great for my Di2 conversion

This worked great for my Di2 conversion. I have a carbon seat post so I was looking for a safe way to hold the battery. Easy to install and very secure, this type of design should have been the default method from Shimano instead of the metal clips.

  • Works flawlessly! Holds the Shimano Seat Post battery securely.
Cons
  • The battery mount may obstruct the view of other bike components, which could create problems with aesthetics and overall bike design.

Works better than oem

Nothing wrong with the stock di2 internal battery "mount", but this is 100x simpler. If you are building a bike from scratch with di2, get one of these.

Great for Trek Émonda 6SL

Used to internally mount the Shimano di2 battery in the seatpost of my 2015 model Trek Émonda SL6. This works perfectly and securely holds the battery with no rattling. Because the Émonda has a different seat post than normal, I was worried this wouldn't work but I was very pleased.

Pros
  • Didn't need the washers, and spring clips provided by the Shimano seat post installation !
Cons
  • The added weight of the battery and mount may affect the overall performance and speed of the bike, which may not be ideal for competitive cyclists

Weirdly perfect in my review

It's a rubber battery thingy. Fits battery perfectly. Fits seatpost perfectly. Seems so uncommon to have something just work without any fiddling. 10/10, would Ritchey Di2 Seatpost Battery Mounts again.For reference: this was installed in a 2014 Orbea aluminum seatpost.

This is great for my Thomson post

I recently upgraded my gravel bike to Di2, and needed a battery holder for the 27.2 seat post. This did the trick in holding the battery well and securely. There isn't any movement once installed, so there is no added nose with it. Very happy with this.

  • The electronic seatpost battery mounts for DI2 systems are expensive, which may limit their accessibility to budget-conscious cyclists

Simply works good for me

My battery stayed in the seatpost. My last battery mount can't say that. Once again Ritchey brings to market a great product.
