I liked that it is reusable and white so it's easy to identify with cables and adapters from Apple products. This is convenient for use in other countries, e.g. B. Mexico, where Wi-Fi is not always available in hotels. Also for easily uploading photos or videos to an online data storage site such as Google Docs or the cloud.

We've been getting hacked about our wireless network all the time and I've found this device that works well with our built-in wall power supplies. My first order was for 2 of these so I could power my iPad and iPhone from the built in power adapters. I have ordered 2 more for my husband. I recommend them with their built-in power supplies. Hacking on portable devices no longer works!

That's a handy little thing. Used it to connect an iPad to a router for better video calls. Also, an iPad was hooked up to a TV for cloud DVR playback, as the woefully incapable ATT TV app can't stream it wirelessly from iOS. On the other hand, the Ethernet cable seems to be permanently plugged into the socket. No idiot will help. Choose your cable length carefully. The device charges, no problems.

We use these on some older iPhones and iPads to connect to the Switched Studio app. We had issues with dropped frames and disconnects when using Wi-Fi, but since switching to them the difference has been day and night. Note that these are Fast Ethernet (100MB) speeds, not Gigabit (GB) speeds, but work well for our needs. We've found that they drain your phone/tablet a little faster, so be sure to use the Lightning connector to charge or connect an external battery while in use.
