It doesn't work at all.

I am not at all satisfied with the purchase and do not recommend this product. I thought the Robinair brand valued quality but this product doesn't even work.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I will write later

Didn't work best in diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

Didn't work from the start - the temperature was 20-30 degrees. There is no way to adapt. Sounds like poor quality control. I had to wait 2-3 days for another one that worked.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Periodicity

GARBAGE. Tested with a calibrated thermometer.

It doesn't even work. So far away. GARBAGE. I'm passing the window to go back, so I guess I'm out of money. 20 degrees difference to my calibrated laboratory thermometer. Said 20 degrees when it was actually 40. Said 40 when it was actually 60.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

They worked great. for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

I wanted to check how well my geothermal furnace is working. I drilled a hole in the center of the INLET and OUTLET channels and stuck one in each. Now at a glance I can see the air temperature in each of them. Simple, cheap and without batteries. They worked great.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Easy and accurate troubleshooting help

Some data just doesn't show up on the OBDII port. It's just a ticket to hunt gremlins in your car's air conditioning. You need to know what you're getting to understand why something is wrong. No batteries or software updates. Just aim and shoot, so to speak.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Confusion

Home AC Thermometer

I needed a probe thermometer to check the air conditioner temperature in my car and also one that I can use around the house. I checked the ice water gauge (32 degrees) for 30 minutes and the thermometer read 34. It also read 2 degrees more than my mercury thermometer. I used an infrared laser thermometer on an air conditioner and got the same reading as Robinair. It's not adjustable, but as long as I know it's a little higher I can use it.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • For Seniors

I don't think I can really complain for the price. However, the face is not as easy to read as it might appear in the picture. Most people have to be within 2-3 feet to read it. The main reason I removed a few stars is the metal part of the bag holder. I accidentally slipped off the red tube. When trying to reattach it, the small metal tab holding the thermometer in place broke, making it quite difficult to check the temperature of the register. Even a slight adjustment of the pocket clip…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
