good bang for the buck in Tools & Equipment

Not as well made as my 20 year old Robinair sensors but ok for the money. A Wish adapter was included to use old R12 and R22 cans.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Nice gauge set!

I didn't read all the reviews before ordering these gauges so I also noticed that the hoses are R12 only. I immediately ordered the R134A quick disconnects and they worked great with these gauges. Good price for these gauges.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Repair

Undersized hoses on air conditioning tools and equipment

Read carefully, the hoses are only 36 inches long. They are too short for automotive purposes. I was trying to migrate my 72" hoses from an older gauge set but the fittings are different. I'm a bit frustrated that I didn't pay too much attention to ordering a brand other than Robin Air Quality and I'm sure I'll be happy when I find manifold fittings for my old hoses.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Nice looking sensor, poor quality

I wasn't expecting a contractor class device at this price point but the quality was so poor I returned the product. The lenses are cheap plastic, can be broken/scratched without much use/rough handling, and the sensors themselves have not been zeroed either. You would never fool a craftsman with this set, but for a do-it-yourselfer it is quite sufficient, but will probably only last a few years.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later
