Good value power and ground cable

I like that the cable's coating matches what it's made for . very flexible but at the same time I wish it was a little stiffer to go through the grommets on the firewall to connect the power and ground wire for the car stereo

Pros
  • Soft PVC jacket for maximum flexibility in extreme temperatures (-104°C to 221°C)
Cons
  • No instructions

Best buy for the price

I ended up using this for a solar array in my utility trailer. It worked perfectly. There is some flexibility. The sleeve can simply be cut off. Be careful as the threads are very thin, although there are a lot of them, and when you pull the sleeve out you'll tear off a few ends. Pretty much anything happens to each of them, but I found this one to be a little more common. In the end, the price-performance ratio is right and the purchase is worthwhile.

Pros
  • Ideal for radio, home theater, car, stereo, robotics and RC applications
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good for the Price: Car Electronics Accessory

I like that the wire's coating matches what it was made for. It's very malleable but at the same time I wish it was a little more rigid to get through the grommets on the firewall to connect the power and ground wires for the car stereo.

Pros
  • Outer Diameter: 10.5mm, Core Diameter: 7.5mm - the smaller the sensor number, the thicker the wire. Thicker wire offers less resistance to current
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Good price and quality for what it is

Good price. Copper clad aluminum is not as good as solid copper for a solar power system. I didn't really know what CCA was until I bought and installed this cable. It carries 70 amps at 12v and has had no problems so far. But it is not suitable for solar/battery/inverter load. It's much more prone to heating up when the amp is heavily loaded. Again, everything is fine now, but I don't know how it will be in the long run.

Pros
  • COPPER COVERED ALUMINUM (CCA) - CCA wiring provides a good conductor for power transmission. This is the most economical option when choosing a power or ground wire. Systems that require more power must consider OFC cabling.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Matte finish cables that are difficult to slip in tight spaces

Audio system. You must lay long paths in places that no one can reach. The only way to do this is to use a set of fiberglass tapes. I figured they were shiny cables that would slide more easily. These cables have a smooth finish but are almost finished in matte black and red. As a result, the surface does not slip so easily in tight spaces. The cables themselves work great, but had I known they had a matte finish I would have gone for other cables with a glossy finish.

Pros
  • Soft PVC jacket provides maximum flexibility to withstand extreme temperatures (-104℉ to 221℉)
Cons
  • No power
