Simple, light and well built no frills axle

Bought as an axle replacement for my gravel bike carbon fork. Beautiful, well made and light. Once installed I didn't have to adjust or tighten it and it's cheaper than the QR grip version.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Clarity

Straight fit for sport

Required a max length of 125mm for my Niner RLT front fork. This is a direct replacement for the quick release that came with the bike. It looks cleaner and adds a bit of anti-theft protection. But I will still lock the steering wheel. Read your current maximum to learn more about the measurements printed on it.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some cons

Length is misleading

I had a Shimano 12x 121mm with quick release installed, it looked like it still had threads left even though it was all the way in so I bought a Maxle 125mm to accommodate it thought he would use all threads in the fork. The wheel was still loose after installation. I thought Maxle 12x 118.5mm would be a bit short but it turned out to be what I needed.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Nothing here
