Best product for post op rehabilitation

Had surgery on the inside of my ankle after wearing hiking boots for 3 months. I had very little, if any, muscle strength after the surgery. With this tape I can walk with minimal lameness and endure longer walks without swelling. It was a lifesaver! I used it 5 years ago after a former NFL player recommended it after my other ankle surgery and I have recovered much faster than my doctor expected. This is the only brand that has the quality and strength to truly reduce pain and swelling and…

Overall it wasn't as good as H2O Tape

An Amazon search for H2O Rock Tape found this product but it wasn't labeled H2O Tape. Before ordering I asked why the name was changing and was assured it was just a brand update and the same product as the 'old' version. I don't know if the H2O tape was "rebranded" or "rebranded" but I'm sure the product I received is not as sticky or waterproof as the "old" one. Version. I just finished up an old roll of "old" H2O tape which definitely lasted better, longer and was also much more waterproof…

11/10 would recommend

I've always used tape but I had a Les Mills Body Pump Trainer whose husband is a physical therapist. I had problems and tried CT tapes. So I asked him about it and he said Rock Tape #1 and KT Tape #2. I only recently had the money to try this, so I did. and I just had to remove the tape from my legs that I put on last Monday (January 15th) and it's pretty tough! I've bathed and showered every day, even scrubbed them with a washcloth, and they were still as tight as they were put on. they barely

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • Not the best

This tape outperforms KT tape on all levels of KT tape. The grip is much stronger. I've done some good ankle applications that have come off the skin with CT but not with this one. It was recommended by my other triathlete friends. Very happy with this purchase. The only reason I'm putting a star is because this tape, while it's the most adhesive I've used, doesn't float when the tape is placed on your feet. I turn around and the tape comes off within 100 yards (3 turns total). I'm a good…

  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers

Great stuff best in Athletic Tapes & Wraps

Got this because I had a gift certificate. I've seen this before but figured it was probably just a gimmick. First, I can't get the bandage to stick to me. I even super glued them to my skin and they fall off when I sweat during exercise. They lasted 5 days. This is madness. Second, I thought they worked like a placebo in humans. I had a sprained shoulder after a recent bicycle accident. I also put them on my feet (see my picture) to see if they would hold up for a run. When I put the first…

My golf season saved!

In the summer of 2021, around July, I started having problems with my left (right-handed) hand while playing golf. After a physical exam I was told that this is a type of tendonitis that can only really heal if I rest my arm for 4-6 weeks. Well, that was out of the question for this amateur tournament player, so I accepted the offer of physical therapy. Long story short, after one visit I left with a few samples of Rock Tape and learned how to partially wrap my hand. After 2 successful rounds…

Disappointed Good for medical supplies and equipment

I have this to stabilize my knees when playing sports. I pick up MF and run it. I'm a man, so naturally I have hairy legs. Here's a reminder of how my rocktape experience went: I was ready to hit the gym, test time: brush up: control tunes: control tape: almost! Clothing: ALMOST? jokingly. All taped and ready to go, my knee felt great initially. The tape seemed to stick well, my knees are very well supported. I hate using knee pads as such because they never seem to stay in place…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Protection

I have no idea about kinesiology taping but I bought this tape on good recommendation as tape for blisters on my legs. I grew up wearing moleskin but gave it up because there's no point in using something so thick and tactile. I've switched to various first aid tapes that work but don't hold up well. Rock Tape is elastic so it conforms to curved and unusual body parts without wrinkling, and the adhesive is strong. For the past several years, I couldn't find trail running shoes that didn't rub…
