This cheap little thing has eclipsed hundreds of dollar audio components. It's great for what it is. But that's not 2.1 sound, it's mono. You are only buying one speaker and even if I had bought another I don't see any way to play one on the right channel and the other on the left channel to get stereo other than with RCA inputs.
