No matter how tight I put the collar on she still managed to take it off! I thought that would solve the problem because it was supposed to be tighter, but she pulled it off with no problem. It was so tight I was sure she wouldn't get it. But she somehow solved it and slipped off! Nothing could contain or hold her back, so maybe she just wasn't meant to be contained. We had a problem with her chasing cows and we had to tie her to the house but we couldn't.

this is perfect for our 10 month old. I love that it will squeeze our pup, but you can put a limit on how tight it is. We have a puppy who is very afraid of new things that we are trying to overcome. I love this collar! We have a 5 year old Mastiff mix and it is always difficult to find a good collar for her. Her neck is so wide that she comfortably wears a collar that she can crawl out of if she wants to. This is the perfect fit for her. It's loose and comfortable, but when pulled it tightens around her neck so she can't get out. Excellent durable collar! However, if you are looking for a truly reflective collar, this is not the best choice. The pink color we received is very cute and matches the strength needed by our 120+ lb Newfy girl.
