Works with 20 Series 80/20 Inc. Extrusions

Slightly more expensive than compression nuts and not as easy to use, but they actually work with real 20 Series 80/20 Extrusions. Also works with Chinese clones.

Pros
  • Nuts
Cons
  • Almost never

Works with 80/20 Inc profiles. 20 Series

A bit more expensive as a plugin and not that easy to use, but actually works with real 80/20 Series 20 profiles. Also works with Chinese clones.

Pros
  • Fits most European 20 Series T-slot extrusions.
Cons

Very handy and easy to use

Much easier to use than smaller standard T nuts. They're narrow enough to fit in the right spot on the rail, and the ball bearing keeps them in place even on vertical bars. I've used them to add new brackets to stiffen the frame of my 3D printer (Tevo Tarantula) and it was a lot easier than messing around with standard nuts that refuse to snap properly.

Pros
  • Spring-loaded slot nut, thread diameter: 5 mm (M5); Thread Pitch: 0.8mm
Cons
  • Zero

Works fine but lots of bugs.

When I bought these I also bought 50 from another source (Binzzo). About 5 of the 50 balls from this brand I've tried have had the ball not work for one reason or another. Whether the ball fell out or the spring didn't work, etc. I find that annoying because I often don't notice immediately when I'm taking the nut, but only after inserting it, or I have to remember to consciously check every time i take them I'm reordering now and going to another brand.

Pros
  • NOTE. This nut is not compatible with 20 series aluminum extrusions. Compare nut thickness and slot height of your profiles, nut pitch width and slot width of your aluminum profiles before ordering.
Cons
  • Many items
