I read the reviews about how it frizzes my hair but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I use hot rollers and attach them with the u-pins that come with the rollers. However, the pins do not hold the reel securely unless you sit still and move your head. Since I like to do other things while waiting for the curlers to cool, I used banana bobby pins in addition to the bobby pins. They are bulky and take up a lot of space. These clips are the best, the teeth are a bit flexible so even if you fasten the curlers quickly and they sit on the side edge they still catch your hair and curlers. I love her. I've used them on three sizes of hot rollers and have had no complaints. Worth every penny, I threw away the metal clips. I'm a bit rough with them when I'm in a hurry and they survived, not a single broken finger yet. My hair is 12-15 inches long and thick.

Works but not very well. My mother had a hard time holding her, so I had to help her. One side of the clip is shorter than the other so I had to position the longer side towards the scalp to keep the clip in place. For $10 I was expecting a little better grip.

Poor quality. I assume they will do the job and break after a few uses. The second picture shows where one of them is bent back and ready to detach. I could probably find them on a dollar tree and not get mad if I paid that price for them. Spring. I will not order again.

I bought a hot roller kit. Metal clips were supplied with the set and from previous experience I have had trouble keeping these clips in place so I found these claw clips and I have used them many times and had no problem with them staying in place and the held the roller well.
