I love these wheels. They seem to be skating in a dream. I also bought roller bearings. It's worth it. Nothing more to say other than I will buy them again when my wheels need replacing.

Tested last night on a hardwood floor ice rink. Lower hardness reels on this reel feel a bit sticky. These wheels are FAST. I had to exert very little to keep up the speed. However, keep in mind that such hard wheels sometimes start to slip when you take the crossover very fast and tight turns. I also had to dig into my T-bars.

First I bought a 62mm 98A, great wheels. But I wanted a little bit of agility and a little bit of planing so I took this 101A 57mm kit and the ride was perfect. I can practice my (weak!) dance moves or just fly over the ice rink. We have a vinyl floor and the glide is nice and predictable. I can easily grab and let go. They match my skill level and I couldn't justify the price of the Art Elite. A while ;-)

So at $50 for 8 wheels it was a pretty good buy. While the purple photo shows a 98A, mine definitely had a 101A, just like the title says. They were great for the skate park. I used to only have 78A street wheels and switching to these wheels has made a huge difference/speed gain in the park. Not many slides, but since I don't use them specifically for that, I'm fine with that. I'll definitely have to smash them some more, but I think the purchase was worth it.
