Excellent seamless performance for Phantom Mic Power

Works great. The device was a bit noisy when first received, i. H. Background noise and gusty wind noise, but after a few days of running on the AC provided everything seems fine. Be sure to use a full set of batteries, whether you're using one mic or two.

May go with A

Looks well built. Rolls has a good reputation. I ordered this unit to be used with a pair of stereo microphones, but was disappointed that it couldn't be used with just a microphone and battery. Maybe in my case it would be better to get two separate blocks - more flexible use. Also, the device I received had a very noisy channel. I can't say how quiet the device is according to the specification. Would highly recommend if I use stereo all the time. I sent the block back for a refund.

No problem ! Install both 9V batteries!

I almost bought this product after reading the first review. I'm glad I called the manufacturer and found out that if you only connect one microphone, you have to install a second battery so that the transformer can increase the voltage to 48 volts. Not wanting to find a suitable outlet to power this product, I was relieved to discover that this unit works on standard 9 volt batteries rather than the hard to find and expensive batteries that my 6 condenser mics would require if no phantom power
