Too thick for a scooter. It is almost impossible to put them on as they are very wide. As soon as you put one side on top of the other, it will pop up. Even the bike shop next to me decided to go with an old tire after trying to fit them. Disappointing.

After weeks of struggling and ordering all the scrap tires or other parts to install, the tire was finally on the rim. When I finally felt victory was near, the wheel broke! As many others have said these are not the right size, they would never snap like a rubber band.

While I'm sure they'd be great to drive, they're nearly impossible to install. I have over a decade of experience servicing bikes and changing countless tires. No amount of heat, argument, tampering, or swearing could bring this rugged hoop to sit on a wheel. This is no joke and should not be taken lightly. While the product may be perfect, it is impossible to use, hence my one star rating.

If housing is the main thing for you, then I highly recommend it. If performance is, then avoid. Benefits: No more flat tires! I've had a few flat tires in a few weeks and am tired of changing tubes. Good! Everyone is absolutely right, these tires are VERY difficult to mount. However, they are totally worth the sweat and pain in your hands.
