This is my second attempt at making a static window film. I don't even remember which brand I used the first time, but it fell off after a few days, most likely due to poor use on my part. I trimmed it, wet the window well with a spray bottle, tapped it and used a large plastic spatula to get the air bubbles out. I had to re-cut one piece because even a fraction of an inch allowed more air to pass through, but as long as it's cut a little less than the window it will stay in place. My cats even
