At first I thought it should be on the front of the handlebars but I couldn't get it to work with cables and other stuff like that. After trying several possibilities I decided to mount it on the inside of the bars and it works great and is more accessible. Since there is no picture showing how this happens on a bike, maybe it should be.

This handlebar bag is almost perfect and finally allows me to throw away the CamelBak on long-distance rides. There is a bug in the Amazon listing: clicking blue makes you gray, and clicking gray makes you blue. I thought everything worked out, but in the end I was wrong about the color. Having said that, this bag is just the right size and it was great to ride without a backpack today.

I have bought this bag twice. The first time I couldn't get it to work so my handlebar headlight was over the bag; The bag was too stiff to mold around the brake cables. I sent the bag back but couldn't find anything suitable. I ordered it again because I like its size and features and found I could remove the hard plastic liner that was preventing the bag from hanging lower on the handlebars. Now it works fine. I'm glad I gave him a second chance.

Excellent front pocket. Lots of space for everything I need to take with me every day. I particularly like the roomy center compartment with the ribbed plastic shell that keeps the shape open and the two smaller side compartments to store tools and keys/wallet. I do have one suggestion for improvement though, and I would prefer the compartments to have two-way zips so you can open them more easily when driving or stopping at traffic lights if needed.

The bag looks good but firstly I can't figure out if it goes in front of or behind the cables. Easily zipped or access pocket when it's on the back. I can't figure out why the handlebar straps are so long when they're only a small diameter, unless I'm missing something. The bag sags with any light weight and even after removing the hard liner it feels small. Not sure if I'm installing it as intended as there's no clues other than the Amazon photo. I needed a little more storage space on my drop bar road bike as I attached the rear camera to the seat post and didn't have room for a saddlebag with tools, snacks, etc. It fits well on mine bar and leaves room for my hands in their normal position - on the hoods, on the drops or on top. I agree with another comment that a 2 way zip in the main compartment would be a nice improvement.
