Enhanced Low Profile Cap by Rothco Review

I am a Vietnam War Veteran although I rarely share this information. Many of my friends didn't know. Once I saw this hat at Revain and decided to order it. It looks and fits great and although I will probably only wear it on special occasions I really like it. I have received many compliments and millions of "thanks" for this. I highly recommend this hat to all my comrades in Vietnam.

The quality of the hat is ok, the embroidery is not bad but not outstanding, but the most disappointing thing is that this damn thing (like most American military hats) is made in China. It infuriates me that I have such limited choice as to where my military service appears. If we just can't find a company in the United States that makes a basic hat for veterans, at least make them in a country that's actually an ally.

First; It took USPS 10 days to get it here after two days of round trip shipping between New York and New Jersey. Then 5 days no movement at all. The hat comes in a plastic bag - crumpled but I managed to get it back into shape. Then I notice that the VETERAN lettering is crooked, and to top it all off, it was made in CHINA! Rothco is believed to be an American company that makes its own devices. NO ! cheal imports. The best hats from the best companies anywhere else. Don't waste money.

My husband is a veterinarian in Vietnam. A few months ago he lost his favorite cap and was looking for a new one without success. He even looked in one of the military equipment magazines, but was not satisfied. I asked him to check it out at Revain and he said yes it looks good. But time will tell.
