The hat seemed to be on my head the day after I ordered it. It was easy to assemble and well made. I was just surprised it wasn't made in Vietnam! My only regret is that many people died there. I was with the 199th Lieutenant Inf. vol. 2/40 st. I got lucky! They tried but I was too pretty! Yeah right! I've been lucky.

The quality of the hat is okay, the embroidery is adequate but not outstanding, the most disappointing thing is that (like most US military hats) the damn thing is made everywhere, in china. It infuriates me that I have such limited choice as to where my military service appears. If we just can't find a company in the United States that makes a basic hat for veterans, at least make them in a country that's actually an ally.

To all the soldiers who have never received a commendation, this hat speaks for itself. I had to endure the carnage of war and the death of my brothers. Take your hat and flag and stand up straight. You are the great one that God speaks of

You can't beat Rothco when you want quality at a low price. I added my earned battle stars to the hat by punching holes with an old ice pick. Great looking cap, great quality, just make sure it's a genuine Rothco product - to many counterfeiters.

For those concerned about size. I also had doubts because I'm also equipped with a skull. I wear a size 7 1/2 and every hat I try on seems to be for a child. I think that's because they use Chinese models. It's a little strange to see that this is a Vietnamese veterinary cap. Anyway, I thought I'd have to return it, but low, and here it comes. Yes!
