We have been using Roudybush for 23 years. Three of our birds, the Gray Parrot, the Umbrella Cockatoo and the Goffin Cockatoo, have never had diet-related vitamin or health problems. The umbrella cockatoo lays eggs. She's never had a problem with softshells. Our vet highly recommends Roudybush. It's expensive, but worth the cost for healthy birds. Feeding Roudybush costs a lot less than expensive vet bills.

I got this from petsolutions.com but didn't know what to buy something else for $3, plus you get free shipping overall. I've been feeding this to my flying idiots for over 20 years and they usually liked it (and threw it away). A few years ago they changed the formula a bit so now there is more waste because there is more crumbs and bigger birds don't eat the "dust" even though I give it to wild birds and chickens.

My bird (Orangewing Revain) gets a 50/50 mix of Rooibos and various vegetables or fruits. He often eats the rooibos first as it is his favorite food. It wasn't difficult to get our bird to eat this diet but he was never overly fussy about his food and will usually accept new food a few days after it has been added to his bowl alongside other more familiar foods.
