Works best in spares

Works as described. Bought these to improve my sagging Cherokee. However, this is no easy task and will require some brute force and leverage. I watched some videos on YouTube to soften the battlefield. I used shorter holes and cut off the extra bracket for a neater look. Treat yourself to some time, some cold and lots of penetrating oils.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Some minor

Easy installation is best for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Very easy installation after you remove the old brackets. Removed butt pin preventing shackle from fully articulating. The rear of the XJ has been raised 1.5cm, there is one more hole if I need to go higher later. Use this product to raise the rear end after installing a heavy bumper. Works well and drives much better.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some small things

Good budget parts lifter

Used these on my 2k XJ instead of adding leaf because I needed to replace the leaf spring and strut (if you can believe they were both eaten by rust) anyway I was going to just 2 inches . I have them on the lower of the two settings when new doors come in but am very happy with them. I'm taking off a star because the screws that came with it didn't fit the factory locations. .

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not bad

I would give 4 or even 5 stars but a bolt set didn't fit and I had to reuse my originals. A set of screws literally did not match any of the ends of the product itself! So I'm not just saying it won't fit my car, the bolts won't fit unless you modify the product. Still not the end of the world, otherwise a good product.

Fits 89 Cherokee - Lift and Suspension Kits

1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The leaves are worn and almost flat. Since I put 31 in, the wing will rub against the tire when I hit a ditch or bump. These braces work great to give me the freedom I need. I will still be replacing the leaves but this clip is doing a great job for now. Oh, and it's not relubeable, so make sure you lube the bushings before installing. Installs in about 20-30 minutes. Very simple and easy. I simply used an existing nut and bolt instead of the hardware that came with…

  • So far happy

  • High Price

Comes with 4 bolts - Two wrong sizes - Caution

I have installed 6 sets of these bolts on 6 different Cherokees. The last came from the south, and I hoped this time the bolts wouldn't get stuck in the socket. Nevertheless, they were captured. Cutting the bolts to remove the strut is an option and depending on the rust the only option. Just note that the bottom bolts that come with the kit are too big to fit through the leaf spring eyelet. The top bolts that attach it to the Jeep body are a suitable replacement. You'll have to reuse the…

Plan a few hours for this project.

After noticing that my old leaf springs were almost flat I decided to buy them to restore stock height while saving for new leaf springs. They were easy to install on my '00 XJ Sport, I won't even go into the details of how hard it was to remove the old ones, other than what I said was a whole can of PB Blaster and lots and lots of heat. It comes with all the hardware, but the two screws are actually shorter and go in the bottom and the longer ones go in the top. On my '00 I didn't need…
