🔧 Enhance Control and Stability with Rough Country Dual Steering Stabilizer for 97-06 Jeep TJ/XJ/MJ - 87308 Review

After a 4.5 foot climb, my Jeep was difficult to control at freeway speeds. These stabilizers solved the problem. Make sure you have a standard tie rod, otherwise you may have to make something of this.

My Jeep has oversized tires which tend to put pressure on the steering. I just installed a Rough Country 87308 Dual Steering Stabilizer and my old TJ drives like a luxury liner now.

They smoothed out my steering 2x better than a single sway bar on my Cherokee 4x4 98 with 3 inches of lift. Although both stabilizer bars are smaller in diameter, they appear to be very strong and well constructed. DO NOT PERFORM OIL PAN IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST 3 INCHES OF STROKE.

I have a '99 Wrangler TJ with a 3.5" lift and 33" tires. The single bump stabilization system that was in my Jeep just couldn't handle it, allowing for a lot of wobble to break the steering due to the oversized arm the big tires have. It was scary at the speed. In less than an hour I was able to drill the single 13/32" hole required for mounting and mounting this dual shock stabilizer. To be honest I can't believe how much this set has changed. Absolutely incredible results.

So far so good, it's been about 4 months and has worked great on my stock steering. I ended up installing my 1 ton for my XJ and found a way to add that. It took a little work, but it works. I added it to the 1 ton because there was a bit of rebound, not enough that anyone else would care, but I tend to freak out about my setup when setting the steering for street use, especially on the freeway.
