This tool is perfect for a Frued drawer lock cutter. I had a perfect fit on the side of a 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood drawer after just a small height adjustment.

Good, but not great. Even with a tuner, it takes a certain amount of trial and error to find the best fit. The jig brings you closer. When your shank is milled exactly 1/2 inch, it takes less effort to get a nice fit.

So you bought a cutter for the router drawer lock, now what? Unless you're Norm Abrams, they're hard to set up. As a beginner I needed help and this tool does exactly that. The router is pretty easy to set up and all I had to do was make some minor adjustments and run some test wood. I also bought a corner lock bit and corner lock tool which I will check out. Both should be if you want these types of joints and are a beginner like me.
