Royal Brush Taklon Classroom Assorted Review

I was looking for cheap brushes in certain sizes in a set for the art class I teach. I bought several packs as I have used this brand before and liked them. This style was definitely cheaper quality. Many of the knobs fell off hands without even being used. Others fell apart after the first wash. Many round brushes with small plastic caps need to be "cut off" because they don't fit well and have bent bristles that constantly lose their shape. Some flat brushes also needed trimming as they…

They arrived factory sealed in new condition but there were a few loose brush heads in the packaging. Others came off when wiping used brushes with paper towels. They kind of snap back into place, but it's not ideal for the classroom like the label would suggest. Someone hosting an event or teaching a class needs to test and fix those brushes in advance rather than waiting for 30 brushes ready to use. This is a very good brush set for fine details. When I opened the packaging some of the brush heads were a little loose due to the glue drying during shipping so I had to squeeze them. down a little to secure them. But as for their functions, they are very good brushes. I've used them with glue and paints (oil and water based) and they clean very well with no paint residue. They last a long time if cared for, yet are inexpensive enough to be thrown away if you so choose. Most importantly, these
