Very tasty and healthy for dogs!

My shih tzu poodle mix loves this food! That keeps him sane. And his fur is soft and beautiful. He doesn't have any digestive issues or frequent bowel movements, which tells me there aren't any added fillers in his diet. I highly recommend this meal!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

Only the best for my little ones

Expensive but my little girl who has a very sensitive tummy eats it with no problem! Add some cold sparkling water and my two Shih Tzus (boy and girl) love it and eat this food very healthily. It's a bit pricey but worth it for me because I love my "babies".

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Secret

My Shih Tzu loves it!

I took a chance on my Tsu liking them as they can get picky when they want to. I just wish they made them in more boxes. Royal Canin is a premium food, as my vet told me, RC does a lot of research on their dog and cat food. I feed my dogs and cats RC dry food and canned cat food. I will definitely buy them again for my Shih Tzu.

Pros
  • a beautiful thing
Cons

Our kid loves this dog food.

Over the past year we have tried many types of dog food and our Shih Tzu did not like any of the ones we bought. He only ate human food. We finally discovered this dog food and he is already looking forward to feeding it. He loves this canned food and we are so happy. We also bought the same in kibble but so far he doesn't seem to want to eat it. It weighs 8 pounds and eats very little at a time, more of a herbivore.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Generally ok but...

Dogs are pickier than cats LOL

*Update: We're back with another brand. Although my dog liked all versions of this food, she just didn't feel any better. If your dog is younger and doesn't have any health issues, he may be able to handle it better. My Shih Tzu has pancreatitis. I put her on a prescription diet that she loved, but it can't go that far. So we tried another brand but it didn't work well with the granules (I know it's for wet food. I'll look into the granules a bit too, LOL). I took ANOTHER brand and it turned…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The demanding Shih Tzu approves.

For many years we have been trying to find foods that our girl really likes and that are healthy for her. Recently, after an FDA warning about dog food and heart problems in dogs, we took another look. Our family has never been interested in grain-free foods, but we tried a few grain-free products just because they were recommended to us and we found the ingredient list lived up to the bill. Now we know that just reading a company's marketing or just reading the ingredients list isn't enough…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Frequency
