Attention buyers! New ingredients contain byproducts!

Why did you change the recipe to include chicken by-products? Why?! How can you still charge the same price while pretending it's the same product?! I really liked this product because it had the best ingredients on the market, but now everything has changed. subscription cancelled.

Maybe too rich or something.

We rescued a half blind 2 week old kitten. She suffered from diarrhea no matter what we fed her. Apparently canned KMR will often do this. Our friend, a cat sitter, advised me to feed the bird baby food. I did and the kitten began to recover. Then one of the vets scolded me for not feeding the kitten because of the vitamins. So we switched to this brand. The kitten had diarrhea so bad she couldn't control it. The vet was confused. I switched her back to baby food and she got better. I think if…

Delicious!

A funny story, my friends and I were planning a hike. We go pretty regularly. We walk around in the middle of nowhere with only the bare essentials. I was supposed to order a can of baked beans but apparently I hit the wrong quick order button and got another box of cat food. So the boys and I took it with us. The first bite or two is an adaptation, but soon after you'll be enjoying the fishy goodness of Royal Canin's Signature Kitten Pate. Super smooth, super thick, super filling. I ate a can…

questionable ingredients

This is not a knee-jerk review and I'm not sure I'll be directing it, but the more I think about pet food ingredients the angrier I get, especially after buying expensive pets Food recommended by the vet. . This particular style of Royal Canin kitten food - with chunks in it and chunks in the gravy - made one of my Ragdoll kittens (4 months old) vomit within an hour of eating it. Two weeks later I tried again, just added an RC kitten with identical results. everything turned up. The worst thing

The warnings and bad reviews are true. Causing diarrhea in my kitten.

My SO convinced me that Royal Canine is the best because it was developed and approved by veterinarians. It was the Hill's Science Diet that made my kitty smell so awful that she tried to bury her while eating and gave up completely. Both brands are veterinary approved. The breeder also suggested that this is the type we give my kitten, he is a Ragamuffin. From the day we got him he had severe diarrhea and a dirty butt. Type of. Along with the administration of probiotics, his diarrhea…

The kittens are nibbling on it!

We have two 4 month old kittens. When they first came home from the shelter they were very happy with Fancy Feast kitten food. However, after a while they got fussy even though I tried different flavors. Then I tried a number of other brands but they ate a little at best but never finished. I was really starting to worry that they weren't eating enough and I was panicking because I couldn't find anything they liked. I started browsing pet foods online and Royal Canid kept coming up as the one…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • mostly ok but...

We introduced Royal Canin to my previous cat who needed their single source protein version to deal with some issues with her sensitive stomach deal with. We now have a new kitten and we knew we would stay with Royal Canin. Our choice was reinforced when I found catinfo.org, which has an excellent document listing all the major brands and their actual nutritional values (as opposed to the intentionally vague "Assay Guaranteed" numbers on labels); Royal Canin Kitten Foods were among the best…
