the back seems to slip off easily and it's clearly not the best material

Didn't even have to sync to TV; Just insert the batteries and press the power button. However, the back seems to slide off easily and it's clearly not the best material, but absolutely the best for the price. Unless you have wild kids or crazy pets I would say this is the best.

TRICKED ME! - Remote controls and accessories

Grandchildren have lost their original remote control. It had great reviews and its biggest draw was the lack of programming, so I bought it. Well within a week it was exactly as advertised and lived up to the reviews. a week long! After this. Nothing. Tried new batteries, nothing. I thought about returning it, but for $12.99, not worth the time. I go to an electronics store and buy one that will last a long time.

I ordered two of these units and they both turned out to be SHORT. I've never seen remotes do what they do. After I ordered the first one and it literally fell apart within (maybe) two months, I figured maybe my kids were being strict with it, and I gave it another try. When the second one I ordered did the same I realized they were just terrible quality. The buttons fall off, the bottom half falls off completely. I literally taped it on right now because I need to order ANOTHER replacement. In
