This item caught fire on first use. I had this on a 12" skillet on a gas stove, it caught fire within the first few minutes. Glad I was in the room. The burner wasn't even high. DO NOT BUY THIS SPLASH GUARD!

After first use and washing, the screen came off along 1 inch of the frame. And I paid very close attention to that. Easy to clean but now I have to handle it with kid gloves to keep it from spoiling. Not at all satisfied.

Bought while my husband was frying burgers and chicken on our stove. It didn't stop the fat from coming out at all. Our stove was covered in grease after frying the burgers the first time we used it. I returned it. It's well built, but the mesh isn't fine enough.

And of course I found it at Revain! This one seems pretty good and I'm so glad it fits in my 14" pan and has room to spare. I've only used it a few times but so far so good. Reduces greasy soiling and is easy to clean by hand. I didn't put it in the dishwasher but I think everything will be fine. I'm glad I bought this.

This fender is flimsy. This is totally insufficient. It doesn't have any struts or "legs" like my 13" fender. He swings in the air. It is difficult to clean as it bends too easily. My 13" screen lasted 20 years. This 15" screen won't last more than two months if I even bother using it again. I should have paid attention to the reviews but I was desperate looking for a colander for my biggest frying pan, since no one makes a good 15" screen, you'll have to try and make something for yourself.

This strainer is perfect for my 15 inch cast iron skillet. I used it to coat fried bacon. worked great. The umbrella has a welded handle. You must be careful with this. I believe the weld may break if you use it carelessly. I love that it fits in such a large pot. If you have a 15 inch stock, mine is a 15 and 1/4, this screen will work. Over 2000 4.7 star reviews led me to this splatter screen. It sounded like a good product and most liked it. I received it on time and in excellent condition. I used it to top a couple of cast iron skillets that same day. He worked well and kept the stove clean. My only issue is how the grip connects to the screen, it's welded together which is good but a bit flimsy! I'm afraid the weight of the screen will come off the grip. That's why he held onto the screen while washing. The time will show.

This splatter guard, as described, is large enough in diameter to completely cover the 14" pan it was purchased for. It works as intended and captures grease splatter well. The screen is heavier than what we have seen on other smaller diameter screens available to us. I was happy to find a 15 inch splash screen because I like using a big bacon pan. Although it cost almost $25, much more than the strainers that are only a few inches smaller, I found it worth having a strainer that actually covers the entire pan.
