Almost a year, no smell!

I'll start by saying I bought this size as it was a lot cheaper than the smaller size. There's nothing scissors and drills can't fix. Even after my homemade modifications, this thing held up very well. Our dog (Golden Retriever) has no visible signs of wear or smell. He presses 100lbs and has absolutely no issues with a collar on a leash.

All in all a great/durable product, just ignore that buckle style. Not quick/easy to turn on or off.

I didn't like the buckle, difficult to open, I would have preferred a quick release buckle. Although very durable. Our dog weighs 80 pounds and has a neck circumference of around 19.5 to 20 inches. We bought a 20-23 inch collar thinking it would work on the smallest settings but it was too big. It didn't ride forward over his head, he just didn't like that it looked too big on him. Overall a good product, just don't worry about the buckle.

Very strange buckle, very difficult to put on and take off

Material as stated is waterproof and easy to clean. But the design spoils me. We compete in water trials with our dogs and have to remove the collar for the competition and then put it back on when we're done with the competition. The buckle on this collar is reversed compared to all other buckle collars I have had. You need to slide the loose end all the way through the buckle and pull back so the locking pin is in the hole. Because the material is very stiff, it is very difficult to secure in

Finally my dog's throat doesn't stink!

This is my third dog collar I've bought and advertises it to prevent throat odor. That's the only thing that worked! Finally my dog's throat doesn't smell like stinky seaweed from a smelly collar. I can keep hugging her. By the way, my dog is in the pool about 8-10 times a day. This collar is made of a strange soft plastic that doesn't absorb water. The buckle is a little odd judging by some reviews. I never take it off so it's not a problem for me. The size is also a bit strange. If in doubtโ€ฆ

Difficult to install, but overall a great purchase!

We were looking for a collar that doesn't get dirty or smelly when our dogs play at the lake. We used cloth collars all the time, which always had to be washed and didn't look the same afterwards. As soon as we saw them we knew this was going to be a great purchase. We bought a green fern for our black lab and a redcurrant for our yellow lab and they look great on them! The color is exactly the same as in the picture and very light on her coat. The spot to attach the dog tags works great as itโ€ฆ
