LOVE IT SO! good for building materials

it works so well i bought 2 more rolls. My kitchen runners were everywhere, but they haven't moved an inch since I doubled the magma. I also had to drag and rearrange one when I first installed it. It was very light and didn't move!

Will stick to tile, laminate but not carpet

On tile I had to do a full angle and then the carpet stayed in place. But on the carpet the tape has come off the mat and is sticking to the carpet so I can see the tape on the carpet when the carpet moves. So it works well on tile or laminate, but don't buy it for use on carpet to avoid disappointment.

Too strong - damages floors, difficult to remove.

I bought them less than a year ago and used them to keep my dogs from making a long trail all over the floor. It held up well on my wood vinyl and still wouldn't budge after 10 months. Now I'm moving and when I scrape this stuff off my floor is covered in a thick and sticky layer of glue. Getting out is incredibly difficult. I've tried wiping it off with a mop twice to no avail and now I have to manually pick up a stiff washcloth to try and remove it all. This will give you results, but it's a…

The best carpet grip/anti-slip tape.

I like that once the tape is stuck to the rug it can be removed and reused so the rug can be removed (lifted) from under the rug for cleaning/vacuuming. In most cases the tape will stick to the bottom, but this is normal. With a gentle pull, it is very easy to remove and reuse. This is the second time I've ordered this band and will order as needed in the future (as long as they keep making it). I first used this tape about 2 years ago and have only now had to replace some of the tape on high…

BEST hold Always good for building materials

I have a slider in the hallway (from the front door to the dining room). Its length is about 8 feet. It will never stay in place on hardwood floors due to the high volume of traffic and the fact that two large dogs are walking around. I washed the floor with hardwood floor cleaner, laid three strips the length of the skid on the floor, placed the skids on top of the strips, and then went over the skids to "glue" the skids to the strips. HE DOES NOT MOVE. Things worked great. I bought another…

Amazing product; Get it if you have hardwood and floor mats!

We've bought something like this from Target in the past. Of course, when we needed it again, we turned to Revain. That was great. It can be 2x wider than what we had before and just as sticky. We use this for long rugs in our hallways and hallways. This works very well. I warn you if you are not careful it will curl or shift when you try to install it. Installation is fairly easy, but you may have trouble separating it from the substrate. Overall it works very well and was pretty easy to…

In some applications, the carpet on the runner does not work well.

This product has not worked for me and is currently being used on multiple skids. After several emails with the seller I was suggested to try tape on the slider and then tape the handle to the tape. It seems that "the jute backing you show tends to stick to the strips fairly easily. A simple fix if the strips just won't stick to the jute backing is to apply a strip of masking tape to the back of the rug tape and slide the rug handle onto the tape. This gives the strips a smooth and firm surface

Waste of money and time putting it on and then removing it

The tape stuck well to the hard floor in the kitchen and to the carpet in the rest of the house. BUT it didn't stick to any of the carpets I tried using it on. And you only get one chance to get it where you want it, because once it's in place, you can't change its position. If you make an effort, it doesn't lag behind at all. Not that it stuck from the start. Also, the tape has to be placed on the floor first, not the carpet, which makes getting it where you want it a HUGE pain. It has to be…
