A very nice addition to the Jeep

4 stars in the Durability category because it's a bit wobbly but not super stiff. Lots of thick steel and good fittings. Supports my KC Daylighters (big old school halogen) perfectly and looks great. The price is perfect for what you get. The powder coating is textured and we'll see if it holds up in Minnesota.

Fits perfectly! fits body

I ordered this item for my JK 2012, it fits my jeep perfectly. The only drilling that needed drilling was the plastic cover screws that hold the prize behind the front bumper, as the screws are tempered and round off the heads of the Phillips screws. Otherwise it would be 5 stars all along the line.

DRILLING IS NOT NECESSARY!

After reading the build reports I thought I was going to have a long day of disappointment. It took about 2 hours to chase the 3 year old and sell the car. Probably 30 minutes for someone who didn't cook dinner in between. You'll need an extra pair of hands with long, thin fingers to hold the nuts in place, but the frame already has holes. My friend and I didn't have any major issues with the install, other than the distractions. Looks great on my jeep!

Very easy installation! in Bumpers

I just don't understand all the bad reviews. NO drilling required! DELETE NOTHING! It took about 30 minutes from the moment the bar arrived until it was fully installed. The hardest part was getting the nuts behind the frame to bolt it on. I tore off a strip of tape and glued a nut to one end, then just hung the nut over the hole. It worked great. Maybe two minutes for the first one while I figured it out, but then it was easy. It seems to have very good workmanship and is very stable. Now it…

Goes well with the 2013 Wrangler Sport, no mods required

I installed this on a 2013 Wrangler Sport in about an hour and a half. It would be a lot shorter if the instructions said how to install while keeping the stock bumper in shape. I was able to attach a bracket to the passenger side frame rail and slide the plastic mesh between the bumper and grille before attaching the driver side bracket. No trimming is required as the brace wraps around the front of the plastic insert. My only complaint is that the bar does not have a secure fit with the…

Great light bar in parts

I have a 2015 Wrangler and this light bar couldn't be easier to install. Fits great, looks great and couldn't be happier. Attach a nut to a bar or wire hanger and slide it behind the body frame mount. Screw in the screw once it lines up with the hole. I removed the plastic skid plate (under the heatsink) so I could do this; easily removing 6 push/pull plastic locking anchors. You don't need to cut anything at the front. 5 stars for quality, 1 star for workmanship. 2010 JK owners are reading this!

Don't believe everything you read, no drilling required! You MUST drill holes in the top plate of the bumper just behind the bumper for the bracket to fit onto the frame. It took my husband a very long time to drill these holes. Unscrew the two cheap plastic screws so you can move this part back and forth. Once you've got the holes right it's time to install the brackets, be prepared for serious neck problems, you won't have a problem if you're an acrobat! My husband's fingers were too big and…
