Strong winch mount, well hides the winch.

A lot more work than I expected but it fits and looks good. Allow approximately 4 hours for the installation including installing the winch. The bumper bolts next to the winch are really difficult to reach once the winch is installed, but if you install the winch last, accessing the winch bolts on the underside of the mounting plate is difficult. Although it would be nice if instructions were included. This is a complex assembly and there should be some sort of guide for it. I had to look…

A few minor issues but fairly robust and not a very difficult setup.

First off, I got this winch plate for free from Rugged Ridge. My Jeep was used for a test assembly of a pre-production system. As a result, I was presented with one of the first production signs. This was not in exchange for a review but for using my jeep in prototyping the whole thing. However, he sat in my garage for a while, waiting for me to grab some synthetic rope and a few other things. It just happened. The plate is definitely meaty. 2017 Recon Best in Body and Finish

First off let me say this is a very solid winch plate and the paintwork was very good. Problems: There were no instructions in the box. Then I got instructions online, but they didn't fit my model. All my problems were with the vacuum pump. Everything else just turned out fine. Not enough space to use rubber isolation pads. You will need to remove them for the pump to fit. If you remove the pads and try to place the pump between your ears, the rib on the pump will prevent it from sitting…
