They are soft and easy to remove. The red peels off everywhere the wrench touches it, including the top of the nut. Otherwise they look good. I'm glad I bought extra

The ring nuts seem strong enough. UPDATE - 5 to 4 stars. After about 6 months the red surface has flaked off (at least partially) on most of the protrusions, some more than others. After the red chips are loosened, they begin to rust. I will definitely replace them in a year.

I bought these to fit on a 2013 Wrangler (JK model) with 35" tires. I was a little skeptical that I might have ordered the wrong parts, but they worked fine. I go to them to replace the black studs that were on the tires to add some color to my wheels. I wanted something other than an all black look. It added a nice touch. Not sure how they look on other people as this is my daily one but so far I like what I'm seeing.

These clamp nuts are the same type as yours, you can go to your local auto parts store and buy them for around the same price. They are well made and will work great but the color is terrible. Looks great but jumped and cracked right out of the box. If you do not change the tires yourself, the car will ruin its coating when it is first delivered to the store. I recommend you to buy another product.

I should have taken other people's comments about the poor durability more seriously. Install these red nuts on a 01 foot Jeep WJ. Fit and thread are fine. The main problem is with the red coating, I tightened them once and most of them chipped off in the process. The coating is holding up on the tips (so far), but the sides of the nuts are almost certainly getting worse. Was hoping that applying 2 coats of glossy Rustoleum clear coat would provide some protection but still no luck. As…
