The nuts fit snugly Parts

Nuts are very difficult to tighten - the bushings are too tight and they are not drilled to allow grease to get onto the bushing. The shackles themselves are of good quality and the screws are good, but this is dough for nuts.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Functionality

Unhappy at the moment: shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Missing equipment, call today. Not as written in the description, only received 1 front and 1 rear - here the description Description Do you need an additional lift kit for your YJ Wrangler? This Rugged Ridge Bracket Kit comes complete with two front and two rear lubricated brackets for an additional 1 inch of lift. Hope they do it right.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Does not match description: shackle & parts

Seems to be of decent quality. Was 1-1/4" over stock, not 2" over stock as described. They gave 5/8 inch lift. But they are just the right length to not look jagged. The bushings are black, which I don't care. The paint was dirty but I painted it green to match my jeep. The lock nuts are very difficult to tighten. And the support bar was short so it bent the shackles when I tightened them to spec. But arrived earlier than expected.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Will write later

Pretty good for the reasons you install them.

I bought these but all four were boomerangs. Comments about nuts being too tight? Are those silly pansy comments about how their balls are tight? Locknuts are provided to prevent accidental loosening which can have catastrophic consequences. They must be difficult to turn. Very complicated. Yes! These are boomerang shackles. I like greased braces. The center angle and placement of the tubes is designed to prevent the caliper from "tipping" when riding off-road, which could bend and destroy the…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Before you buy, look carefully at the list of spare parts

I bought these to replace a broken factory front and rear brace on my 1987 Wrangler. If you've ever worked on the suspension of older cars you know that the bolts on the bushings rust and the bushings are welded to the bushings and usually need to be cut and shredded to pull them out. extra jacks and jacks that cost me an additional $45 to complete the install. Nuts and bolts are garbage. The jackbolts (designed as locknuts) are out of tolerance and 75% of the bolts that came with this kit…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
