Great training tool for softball. We use them to warm up the team when places are limited for the tournament. The weight really encourages them to hit with the thrown ball. Can also be used in the garden or in tight spaces where you don't want to chase a bunch of balls all over the garden. Great tutorial and excellent quality. You need a bucket to carry these more than nine children to be a bit heavy.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter to practice hitting and to strengthen my shots. We have worked with them several times since they arrived. They are durable and allow us to fully engage in the backyard without worrying about breaking the window. They don't go far and reinforce their arm and punch. Note: I throw them to her while standing behind the net - you do NOT want any of them to hit you.

Very good set of heavy balls. I coach a machine pitch team (6-8 years old) and some kids really need help. These heavy balls help them swing through the ball and swing with power. It's a big transition from a coach field or tball to a machine field and some kids have trouble adjusting to the force required to hit the ball. They don't go very far (especially when hit by a kid), but they really help teach kids how to swing the ball well. I wish I had bought them sooner! worth your money!
