Front and rear calipers work on a 2007 Mazdaspeed3.

They have a larger screw head, 12mm instead of 10mm for the standard brake bleeder. For the front calipers, you'll need a regular 12mm open-end wrench to turn them when the 12mm head hits the hard line of the caliper near the bleed hole, as will a 12mm wrench with a flare nut . It's fine as long as the OEM units aren't snapped into the front as the power socket is the best option for getting the old ones out. Use a Liquid Wench Penetrant before attempting to remove old blocks.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Absolutely fantastic

These things are fantastic to use. Simply replace the drain valves with these, tighten, back off a quarter turn, attach a plastic hose to drain the brake fluid into a catch reservoir and you're good to go. I was able to bleed all 4 brakes in minutes (it took longer to remove the tires). I would fill the brake reservoir to the max and depress the pedal 12 times on each wheel (minimize the reservoir). I flushed the brake system almost completely. The pressure on the brake pedal feels great…

04 Ford Taurus front disc great rear drum not recommended (length too short)

Russell website lists part number 639630 for front (disc) and rear (drum) on 04 Taurus and should be checked. This bleed valve doesn't work for the rear as it's not long enough to fully close, learned the hard way. After installing the fitting on the rear passenger drum and pumping fluid, I tightened the fitting, thinking it was closed. Moving on to the rear driver's drum which is starting to bleed and to my surprise the rear passenger's drum, inside of the wheel and tire are covered in brake…

They work great for a 2003 Nissan 350z with Brembos

This is for a Nissan 350z 10mm x 1mm x 33mm. But the funny thing is I used an 11mm wrench to install, my Brembo bleeders were 10mm but rusted and the spring froze so no fluid came out when loosened. So I bought her. It's very easy to pump a 350z with a Brembo. Get the Motive 1107 adapter and venting will be very quick. Pump outside first, when you see a clear liquid, pump inside, it only takes a few seconds because the clear liquid has already reached the outside you made first. Simply make 8…

Russell's website is wrong about the 1st gen Nissan Titan

According to their website the same part works in the front and rear calipers. I learned the hard way that they don't. The rear ones were perfect. OEM bolt removed, Russell bolt installed, brakes bled. Went forward and did the passenger side and thought I was fine when I saw clear liquid coming out of the hose. Dressed up, put the bike back and started working on the driver's side. Clear liquid spilled out on the driver's side and I was happy. Tightened, wheel put on and car lowered. Noticed a…
