Standard height brackets F 250

I was concerned they are for 4" to 6" lift trucks. I installed them on my standard height F 250 Superduty and they looked like they were made for him. They weren't too long. Happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Quality

They are attached to the fixed brake fittings OEM no.

Easily connects to standard fixed brake fittings. However, they don't have the original attachment to the brackets where the brake lines dangle, so some creative guesswork is required to install them.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Attention buyers: Brake system

Arrived well packaged. Looked great too. It should be for a 4-5.5 inch forklift. The front lines were shorter than the original ones. Although manageable. But the rear center brake line didn't even come close. Too short, wrong input size, wrong output size. As for performance, while TBD. Still installing as the line was wrong. Very disappointed. Update: pure junk. I wouldn't put her on a cart. I now have to go back and buy 5 new hoses with the right length and fittings and the right size.. Oneโ€ฆ

I have a Ford F350 Regular Cab 4x4 with 2 1/2" Front Alignment Kit 5.4L GAS I have 235/85r16 on standard wheels I've heard "It will work on my truck. It feels a little long for the fronts but it works without rubbing or sticking. I finished the installation and the difference with the old series is amazing. I'm surprised even though it's the lifespan of the material would extend better but I notice it when braking. I wish I had installed earlier. Only problem is getting the stock leads off theโ€ฆ

Bought for 2005 Ford Excursion, 4WD. hoses.

Bought for 2005 Ford Excursion 4wd. The hoses were no longer than the stock brake hoses. Also, on the rear hoses, the hose ends that attach to the calipers are not as large as stock, so the lip on the machined surface of the caliper doesn't hold the hose end in place when the hose is tightened. Also, the ends of the front hoses where they passed through the stock mounting brackets on the frame were not the same as stock and could not be used with the stock bracket. Although the retainingโ€ฆ

The lines definitely improved the brake feel on my 2005 Excursion. Note that these lines come with stainless steel brake line washers. I don't think these are good quality stainless steel shims as I've researched online and there have been several instances of them rusting and causing brake failure. This is not good. I used my OEM copper washers front and rear. I've found the back is leaking from using copper washers that are over 10 years old. In between I installed SS Russell. I have orderedโ€ฆ
